HOW IT WORKS
There are several popular methods used in screening cognitive decline by health professionals, institutions, and other providers. We chose the Mini-Cog developed by Dr. Soo Borson and her team at the University of Washington’s Memory Disorders Clinic. It is simpler and only takes 3 minutes to complete. The Mini-Cog includes two parts of the assessment: a three-item recall test and a clock drawing test. It is for the quick screening of individuals who may require further evaluation for cognitive impairment. Administrators do not need to have special medical knowledge. Details on the Mini-Cog can be found here. We will also provide training to volunteers on how to administer such screening.
Here is how it works:

-
An information kit for conducting the Mini-Cog screening will be emailed to you per your language requirements.
-
You can perform the screening online or offline with a hard copy or with a tablet.
-
